After the epic first edition on last April, the three HISK artists Jivan van der Ende, Danielle Kaganov and Hamed Dehqan (in collaboration with Nathaniel Moore) are returning with an evening long take-over of the rehearsal space of Needcompany to experiment with a new format: a semi-public presentation where three individual practices go into dialogue.

In a collaborative dialogue merging performance, installation and choreography they will present:

“Muscular Growth (uhhhhg, again?!)” is a performance installation by Jivan van der Ende with a napping policeman, a prancing target and a high vis quirky workie – Safety first! And avoid the worst.

“Alpha Channel Live” is a video performance by Danielle Kaganov. mixing a documentary and imaginative approach, she critically investigates the bizzare fringes of contemporary propaganda in Israel.

"Tanin” a dance performance by Hamed Dehqan and Nathaniel Moore, delves into the post-1979 Persian dance and reflects upon the fragile relationship between dance and freedom. Tanin creates a group experience remarking on the beauty of dancing together and touching on themes of western imperialism and hegemony.

This project is part of the research in the arts programme at HISK led by Jeremiah Day.
