Stephanie Rizaj’s (1989) artistic practice is as manifold as it is consistent. Trained as an architect, designer and artist, her work ranges from performative sculptures to site-specific installations and videos. It focuses on the sociopolitical construction of identities and reflects on the relations between the body, labour and architecture.

Traces unfolds itself gradually, from the urban architecture of a district in Marseille to the sculptural landscapes of a territory marked by the sea, alternating an objective point of view with the intuitive mindset of children’s experiences and dreams.
