Artist statement

I like to work from associative thoughts in which irreconcilable contradictions can be overcome, such as the concepts of 'sentiment' and 'dry', but also the choice of materials that cannot be used together at first sight or have opposite characteristics. By transforming them nevertheless into paintings I create a network of paintings that evoke an image of an alternative world.
