The practice of Anaïs Chabeur consists of video-works, photography, writings and objects. Through her work she explores reminiscence as well as our relationship to death and the rituals that give rhythm to our existence. She questions our memory's external sources and our internal subjective mechanisms that constitute personal fictions. For her, memory is a contraction of time and space in which we can travel. While creating strong sensorial experiences, she captures key moments in which one can observe and feel Time.
