Artist statement:
In my practice I address to dramatic social histories of Eastern Europe. I usually depart from historical research and approach to collective and personal memory by means of analytical, conceptual or interventionist tactics. Basing on my passion to music I tend to engage rethinking of musical archive inasmuch musical ritual comes along with nearly all modes of human activity. This permits to explore clashes between momentary and monumental, present day and far history keeping aesthetical language uncluttered, giving an additional layers of social commentary.
