Hadassa Ngamba is an emerging Congolese visual artist. Ngamba was born in 1993 in Kizu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She holds a Bachelor degree in criminology from the University of Lubumbashi. Ngamba was a resident at WIELS Art Center in Brussels (2019) and participated in the 5th and 6th Lubumbashi Biennale (2017 and 2019). The News York Times featured her work in an article dedicated to the sixth edition of the Lubumbashi Biennale in 2019.

Hadassa Ngamba's work consists of paintings, drawings, photography, video, installations and performance. Her work draws on indicators of capitalist factors for controlling strategic spaces and most particularly land and mineral resources resulting into poignant social and environmental issues in the DRC. She, thus tries to create molecular grafts of the capitalist circuit forming pervasive breaches in Congolese societies. By disturbing the functional signals of a system which she judges as failing and unbalanced, with her work she attempts to challenge those systemic distortions.
