Zoë Gray

Zoë Gray is senior curator at WIELS since 2015, where her exhibitions include Un-Scene (2015), Klara Lidén (2015), Erik van Lieshout (2016), Simon Denny (2016), Sven ‘t Jolle (2017), Rita McBride (2017), Saâdane Afif (2018), Koenraad Dedobbeleer (2018), Gabriel Kuri (2019) and Open Skies (2019) . For 2020, she is preparing solo shows with Thao Nguyen Phan and Kasper Bosmans (former HISK resident). Previously Gray was curator of the 4th edition of the contemporary art biennale Les Ateliers de Rennes in Brittany, France (2014) and worked as project manager for LUMA Arles (2012-2013). From 2006-2012, she was curator at Witte de With, center for contemporary art in Rotterdam, where she curated several exhibitions and the symposium series The Rotterdam Dialogues: Critics, Curators, Artists (2008-2009). She was vice president of IKT, the international association of curators of contemporary art, of which she remains a member. Gray is a member of the acquisition committee for the Frac des Pays de la Loire and is a member of the general assembly of La Loge, Brussels and of KIOSK, Ghent.
