Louise Osieka

Louise Osieka (Master Art History) is the director of C-mine. C-mine is a hybrid, creative site founded on the revitalised Winterslag coal mine in the city of Genk (BE). The mine’s industrial heritage has been carefully renovated, and it fascinatingly interacts with the site’s modern buildings and architectural elements. It’s a place where students, artists, entrepreneurs and visitors cross paths every day, offering them a high-quality programme on the intersection of the visual, performing arts, design, architecture and film.

From 2015 - 2020 Osieka was the artistic and general director of CIAP (now Jester), a platform for contemporary visual arts where she organised exhibitions and projects by Aline Bouvy, Leen Voet, Martin Belou, Kasper Bosmans, Beny Wagner and Antonio Vega Macotela.
