Frank-Thorsten Moll

Frank-Thorsten Moll runs the IKOB - Museum of Contemporary Art in Eupen, Eastbelgium as director since march 2016. He focuses on German and Belgian artists and sees the IKOB as a showcase between Germany and Belgium, within the polycultural realm of the Euregio Maas-Rhine. Born in 1977, he graduated in 2005 with an MA in Art History and media theory. Before that he already worked at ZKM - Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe, Germany and as guide at Documenta 11. From 2005 till 2006 he worked as Assistant of Prof. Lydia Haustein at the House of World Cultures (HKW) in Berlin. In 2006 he became curator at kestnergesellschaft, Hannover in Hannover. In 2009 he became curator at the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen, Germany where he was responsible for the art collection and various changing exhibitions. He was working with artists like Bruce Nauman, Raymond Pettibon, Barbara Kruger, and Phoebe Washburn amongst others.
