Claire Mathilde Contamine

Claire Contamine is a curator and art critic based in Brussels. She holds a master of public law from Pantheon Assas University and a master of art history from Paris Sorbonne University. A former curatorial assistant at Palais de Tokyo in Paris then head of the curatorial team for the second edition of the Riga Biennial of Contemporary Art, she has recently been appointed assistant curator at Kanal Centre-Pompidou where she had been working as production manager for the last two years. She also co-curated its ephemeral webradio program Studio K. She writes regularly for exhibition and artists catalogs (RIBOCA2, mountaincutters, Xavier Mary…) and art magazines such as L’art même or transmagazine. She curated Nicolas Bourthoumieux’s solo show in CWB Paris in October 2021.
