Bas Hendrikx is a curator. He is the artistic director of Art on Paper in Brussels, Belgium, and the founding director of Kunsthalle Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He was a curatorial resident for Garage Rotterdam, for which he curated a series of three exhibitions, comprised of ‘De Stad, de stad’ (2019),‘Blossom’, and ‘Detached Involvement’ (both 2018). His exhibitions include ‘Oasis’ for BOZAR, Brussels, ‘meetsysteem’ for CIAP in Hasselt, Belgium, ‘the Dutch Savannah’ for museum de Domijnen in Sittard, the Netherlands, ‘Hybrid Modus’ for Skulptur Bredelar, Germany, ‘Your Time Is Not My Time’ for De Appel, Amsterdam. He regularly publishes in magazines and catalogues, and he is the editor of ‘Authenticity? Observations and Artistic Strategies in the Post-Digital Age’, published by Valiz (2017).
