The Frans Masereel Centrum is an international arts center for contemporary visual artists and critics, consisting of a residence program, exhibition space and printmaking workshop.
It is a place of creation but also a platform for knowledge transfer, international cooperation and research. The extensive printmaking facilities offer contemporary artists the opportunity to investigate printmaking in all its aspects or to use it within a broader practice. The focus is on creation and experimentation in the workshop.

As an artist-in-residence centre, Sundaymorning@ekwc annually welcomes about 60 artists, designers and architects to experiment with ceramics for a continuous or phased period of three months. Sundaymorning@ekwc does not only offer studios, workplaces, the most advanced equipment and living space, but also the support of a team of specialists. This team gives a unique added value to the residency as 75% of the participants have no or little experience with ceramics. Intensive guidance allows the participants to realize their prearranged work plans.
