Lisa Wilkens (*1978) works on the intersection of drawing and print, production and reproduction, technique and technology, humans and machines. She works with brush and Chinese ink, lithographic stones and 3D printers. Her artistic research incorporates practice and theory of image-making, the history of science, political history and artificial intelligence. Lisa has an MA in printmaking and has worked as a tutor and professor teaching printmaking in local printmaking workshops and academic institutions alike. Since 2015, she has initiated a number of artists editions, most recently at the Academy of art and design in Berlin Weissensee.
