Susanna Inglada

Susanna Inglada Heredero (b. 1983) is a Spanish visual artist. She lives and works in The Netherlands and Belgium and specialised in drawing and painting. She got her Bachelor in Fine Arts in Barcelona, followed by a Master in Fine Arts in The Netherlands in 2013. Ever since, she has done residencies in Leipzig (Germany) , Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Mexico City and Los Angeles (US). Born and raised in Catalonia, Susanna is inspired by Spanish culture, literature, history and politics. Susanna’s work consists of installations, in which she creates dark scenes, using characters and symbols in collage techniques. She studied theater for two years in Barcelona, something that really influenced her present work, where fictional characters act as personages in her ‘plays’.
