Visa Bill Laughter refers to one of the many laughter exercises that are used in laughter therapy. In this exercise the participants imagine a ridiculously high visa bill and show this bill to each other with artificial laughter, that should be followed by real laughter. During the creation process of the exhibition for De Nederlandsche Bank, the young Belgian artist Ben Van den Berghe visited different 'Laughter clubs' in Belgium and the Netherlands, at which he researched for his most recent project. At the exhibition the audience will catch a glimpse from this investigation and different video- and photoworks from previous projects will be projected.
Since the exhibition is held at the National Bank of the Netherlands, you have to announce your visit either by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by telephone (+33 20 524 21 83), mentioning your full name and number of your identity card. Identification is obligated.
