Traditions of a regular park are met today, living their deprived of original absolutism context on a flowerbed near the house. Even in a totalitarian country nothing makes a man closer to Eden than contemplation of flowers. Searching for the order system in a pile of branches in the yard – is a try to make out iconography of Heaven in a country where there never was a Gent altar. What are the copies of the lost and never seen original in the given context? And where they leads us to?
Trying to answer this question I actualize the complex relations between a copy and original as a sours of inspirations for its copy, and as an example “FLOWERBED” – in one hand it is a real hanmd-made flowerbed, following to the “established rules” pretended to be inspired by nature or nature itself, pretending to look inside the frames of my work like 18 centure organic-shaped roccaille but as a matter of fact being contemporary art – or has to be ?
