Once I ate lunch at the café of a ballet school. Legs were stretching while people were eating. Feet were everywhere. I enjoyed this ignoring of the will of the furniture. If the dancers weren't so aware of their bodies and the furniture not so adjusted to their purpose, it could had been considered an untamed nature.
My work looks at slowness, the rhythms of transitions and that which does not immediately make sense. It plays with the underplayed, that which almost blends into its surroundings and becomes something that you only might discover. It is seeking a natural so natural it is not natural anymore and so expected that thinking escapes and sensing occurs.
