Lives and works in Brussels and Mexico City.
Studied at Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas U.N.A.M. México (BFA 1992) and goldmisths´College London (MFA 1995). Between 1987 and 1990 worked at Gabriel Orozco´s workshop, with Abraham Cruzvillegas, Damián Ortega and Dr. Lakra, Mexico.
2007 Artist in Residence OCA Office for Contemporary Art Oslo.
2006 Artist in Residence Govett-Brewster Art Gallery. New Zealand.
2002 ACA Master, Artist in Residence. Atlantic Center for the Arts, Florida USA.
