Sondies Sculpture Garden (Eyestroll 2) is an installation presented in the Museum Manuel Felguerez in Zacatecas, Mexico and explores how perception of art has changed by technology and it is divided into two concepts: On the one hand, the artist created a series of sculptures related to the way images are produced and consumed in the world today. They are composed by mixing images of random works of art found on the Internet by Google and toys from the Chinese market. Here, the artist deals with the imaginary the same way a dj makes music with sounds and echoes from the surrounding, in this case a museum of abstract art.
On the other hand, a second look is created by filming the artworks: the final installation is composed of 11 sculptures distributed on the floor of the exhibition space which no one can enter. Instead, from above, spectators can use a remote control tank to drive a camera and pick their own point of view of the installation.
