Alexandra Landré is artistic director of Kunstvereniging Diepenheim (NL) and tutor at the Royal Academie for the Arts/ The Hague. She is specialised in contemporary art, research methodologies and spatial practices. A particular interest goes out to 'extended' artistic practices that transgress disciplinary boundaries, include research strategies and challenge the relationship between art, everyday life and 'the public'. Landré has been collaborating with numerous institutions a.o. Synch festival / Athens (GR), Kunsthalle Muenster (DE), Stedelijk Museum Den Bosch (NL), Kunsthalle Wien (A), Drdova Gallery, Praag (CZ), Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (NL), Nieuw Dakota Amsterdam (NL), Volkshotel Amsterdam (NL), Cobra Museum (NL). Parallel to her curatorial practice she is advisor to several non-profit and governmental organsiations and publishes regularly. Landré is based in Amsterdam.
